About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care to laboring and postpartum patients and their newborns. The RN will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Labor & Delivery and Postpartum experience
- Active NH RN License
- BLS certification required
- Circulation experience required
- Must be willing to care for GYN surgical and general post-operative patients
- Must be willing to work every 3rd weekend
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum
- Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Assist physicians, anesthesia, and healthcare professionals during procedures
- Provide care for GYN surgical and post-operative patients
- Monitor patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Educate and support patients and families
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Follow established safety, quality, and patient-care standards
- Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
