About The Position

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-scope Obstetrics unit at a rural West Texas hospital handling approximately 30–40 deliveries per month. This position requires comprehensive clinical skills across antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery care. Dedicated Labor & Delivery experience is strictly required. Applicants with postpartum-only experience will not be considered.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Labor & Delivery RN in an acute care setting.
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification

Nice To Haves

• Operating Room (OR) / OB Circulator experience.
• Background working in rural or critical-access healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care across the full maternal-child spectrum: antepartum, intrapartum (labor), postpartum, and nursery.
• Monitor, assess, and manage laboring patients, including high-risk presentations and emergencies.
• Perform OB Circulator duties in the surgical suite during C-sections (preferred).
• Provide immediate newborn assessment, stabilization, and nursery care post-delivery.
