About The Position

Labor Delivery and Recovery Nurse: Share your talents in providing compassionate and high quality care to expectant mothers during the labor and delivery process. This position includes a full range of patient support to include everything from childbirth and lactation education to monitoring vital signs, assisting with medical procedures and offering emotional support. Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors or Associates Degree in Nursing (RN) from an accredited school. NRP, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and S.T.A.B.L.E Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Training at a minimum.
  • Experience: Have at least 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery Nursing.
  • Licenses/Certification: Current Colorado State license or Compact license.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC – OB) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of expectant mothers, monitor their health and identify any potential risks or complications.
  • Provide continuous support by monitoring contractions, fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs.
  • Assist the physician during the delivery process to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Care for mothers and newborns during the immediate postpartum period. Educating and assisting with concerns and/or complications.
