About The Position

The Labeling Development team within the Medtronic Neuroscience portfolio develops and maintains product labeling that supports regulatory compliance and the safe, effective use of medical technologies. This role is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and requires an on-site work arrangement. Travel is not anticipated. The Labeling Program Lead manages labeling activities across product lifecycle initiatives, ensuring labeling deliverables are planned, coordinated, and executed in alignment with program objectives, timelines, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
  • Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience managing project schedules, risks, and deliverables.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
  • U.S. work authorization is required for roles below Principal level.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the medical device, healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
  • Experience with labeling, technical documentation, or controlled documentation processes.
  • Knowledge of medical device labeling regulations and standards, including EU MDR, FDA 21 CFR Part 801, or ISO 20417.
  • Experience driving process improvement or operational initiatives.
  • Ability to influence and align stakeholders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain labeling project plans and schedules aligned with program milestones.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to coordinate labeling activities, dependencies, and timelines.
  • Manage labeling deliverables from initiation through release and communicate project status.
  • Coordinate work across technical writers and other labeling contributors.
  • Monitor project risks, resource needs, and schedule impacts, escalating issues as needed.
  • Develop dashboards and metrics to track progress and support decision-making.
  • Support process improvement and operational excellence initiatives within the Labeling Development function.
