Production Kitchen - Label Line Operator
About The Position
American Spoon Foods is a nationally recognized artisanal fruit-preserving company, renowned for producing high-quality preserves and condiments in small batches using locally sourced ingredients. We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Labeling Line Assistant to join our production kitchen team. This is an entry-level role with full training provided. Experience in manufacturing environments and/or equipment maintenance is a major plus. We are a small, dedicated team looking for someone who is eager to jump in, lend a hand wherever needed, and take pride in helping us create exceptional products.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand for long periods (up to four hours at a time) and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong focus, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Team-oriented mindset — willing to step up and help wherever needed.
- Positive attitude and the ability to stay calm and organized under pressure.
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing and/or equipment maintenance experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Train under the Lead Label Operator to assist with labeling and packaging products to company standards.
- Monitor and record quality and safety information accurately.
- Help fulfill the daily production schedule efficiently and consistently.
- Maintain a clean, organized labeling area throughout each shift.
- Follow all departmental rules, procedures, and quality standards.
