About The Position

M&M Industries is a U.S.-based manufacturer of plastic pails and packaging solutions. We operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where accuracy, organization, and teamwork are critical to keeping production running smoothly. The Labeler assists the production process by producing barcode tracking labels that enable the tracking of product information, including material, color, machinery, and molds used to produce the product. Additional responsibilities include communicating product status updates as necessary to ensure clarity and efficiency. The Labeler also maintains inventory levels of gaskets and silicone to support the production line.

Requirements

• Strong hand-eye coordination
• Detail-oriented
• Highly organized
• Comprehensive understanding of Food Safety, GMP, PRP, HACCP, and awareness of food contact materials as applicable to food safety packaging (in applicable facilities)
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
• Ability to lift and handle between 20–50 pounds frequently
• Ability to stand and perform work for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may be hot or cold
• Ability to wear required PPE at all times (safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.)

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Production Packer preferred

Responsibilities

• Follows company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• Replenishes gaskets and silicone on the production line
• Scans work orders and inputs required information using a handheld RF scanner
• Prints and labels pallets of finished products
• Informs and communicates with supervisor when an order is near completion
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment in accordance with 5S principles and food safety requirements (in applicable facilities)
• Performs other duties as assigned
