Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • At least one year related experience required.
  • Be certified to operate various forklift trucks.
  • Must be able to communicate efficiently with production personnel.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to function well in high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Be familiar with procedures such as forklift safety, personal protection equipment, QHSE-quality, health, safety, environment guidelines, and various other safety measures.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

  • Current human resources and/or compensation credentials or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Labeling and assist in the preparation and / or assembly of packaging materials including sleeving, forming cartons, palletizing, and staging work areas.
  • Assist in the set-up of production equipment such as tape machines and staplers.
  • Review production board daily for planning task list priority.
  • Assist in unloading trucks.
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance of the immediate work area.
  • Assist with gallon line processing needs.
  • Perform cycle counts / inventory control of specified stocked items.
  • Assist in general housekeeping.
  • Follow all safety instructions, department procedure workflow guidelines and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Follow all manufacturing procedures per GMP and FDA requirements.
  • Strive towards continuous improvement processes.
