About The Position

Responsible for supporting the paint filling, canning, and labeling operations by preparing filling equipment, applying labels, operating production equipment, staging products, ensuring product quality, and assisting with general production activities to meet safety, quality, and productivity standards.

High school diploma or GED preferred.
One to three months of related experience and/or training.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Nice To Haves

Forklift operation, chemical handling, and respirator training required (provided by the company).

Responsibilities

Prepare filling stations and production equipment for specific products.
Ensure fill levels are accurate by weight and that products are filled into the correct cans, pails, and containers.
Safely operate labeling equipment and efficiently apply labels to containers, including quart, gallon, and five-gallon packaging.
Coordinate with the Production Supervisor and/or Filling Lead regarding production priorities.
Stage completed containers for canning and filling operations.
Load and unload containers from conveyor filling lines.
Palletize finished products by stacking and preparing shipments.
Clean machinery, tanks, and production equipment using water or solvents, depending on product requirements.
Minimize the use of cleaning materials while maintaining equipment cleanliness and product quality.
Follow all safety, quality, housekeeping, and production procedures.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
