About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Label Room Technician in Wilmer, Texas. The role supports product quality in a food-grade facility by monitoring packaging codes, inspecting products, documenting quality checks, and maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices and applicable regulatory standards. The position is scheduled for third shift, Friday through Sunday, from 7:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Pay is $19.00 per hour, with an additional $0.50 per hour shift pay. Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Previous experience in a food-grade facility.
• Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, or related standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes against specifications.
• Inspect products for quality issues and remove defects or contaminants, such as stones, wood, glass, or plastic, before packaging, in accordance with specifications.
• Perform timely checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Provide supervisors and managers with required quality documentation.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), with an emphasis on safety.
• Maintain quality to meet standards required by the FDA, USDA, and other applicable requirements.
• Ensure product quality meets customer, state, and federal guidelines.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
