As a Label Relations Manager, you will be a key point of contact for our label and industry partners. We are looking for someone who builds great internal and external relationships, resulting in delivering excellent campaigns for customers and artists. This position requires a minimum of 30% travel, and some evening attendance at industry events and shows. The Label Relations team owns the existing music relationships, and drives collaborative efforts internally and externally around content launches, events, and cross-category promotions. Label Relations Managers work closely with Programming, Marketing, Editorial, Merchandising, Content Acquisition, Operations, and International teams. Come innovate with the Amazon Music team!

Requirements

  • Experience working at a record label, artist management company, artist talent agency, or similar field within the music industry
  • 5+ years of experience in music industry partnerships, label relations, or artist relations
  • Experience managing end-to-end marketing or promotional campaigns, including planning, execution, and performance analysis
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with music labels, artist management teams, or distributors
  • Bachelor's degree in Music Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience using data and analytics to evaluate campaign performance and inform strategic decisions

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, human resources or related field, or a MBA and experience communicating results to senior leadership
  • 5+ years of experience in label relations, artist partnerships, or music industry business development
  • Demonstrated track record of converting industry relationships into measurable business outcomes (e.g., streaming growth, audience engagement, new content partnerships)
  • Experience collaborating across multiple internal teams (e.g., Programming, Marketing, Editorial, Merchandising) to deliver integrated campaigns at scale
  • Deep knowledge of the digital music ecosystem, including streaming platforms, content delivery operations, and new release workflows
  • Experience building scalable mechanisms and processes to manage high-volume partner relationships and campaign pipelines
  • Proven ability to balance short-term operational execution with long-term strategic planning in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong cultural fluency in music trends, emerging artists, and industry developments that drive fan engagement

Responsibilities

  • Acting as an ambassador and advocating for Amazon Music within the music industry
  • Developing relationships within the music industry (labels, artists, managers) that create new opportunities to grow artists’ fanbases on Amazon Music
  • Creating and driving end-to-end campaigns in collaboration with internal teams at Amazon
  • Directly managing the day-to-day relationship with select music labels
  • Converting new opportunities into campaigns that drive Amazon Music’s business goals
  • Planning and executing numerous projects, analyzing performance and optimizing future campaigns based on their results
  • Ensuring content availability in collaboration with Operations and Content Acquisition teams, and driving continuous improvement in digital music operations
  • Supporting new release planning and launches
  • Contributing to various Amazon Music projects from a content and analytics perspective
  • Balancing day-to-day business needs with long-term business goals
  • Maintain music cultural expertise by monitoring industry trends and identifying new opportunities
