The Label Control Operator I is an entry level operator responsible for pulling and releasing labeling materials for the production and packaging departments while maintaining and complying with cGMP. This position monitors changes in processes, schedules and documentation while communicating with the appropriate manufacturing personnel. Identifies required materials and creates movements of those material, using the SAP P83 barcode tags, to transfer them from one building to another putting material in a label control destination in a timely fashion to effectively support production requirements. Retrieves batch records, in conjunction with the current production schedule, from Document Control to review them for accuracy. Issues materials in accordance with FIFO, SOP and cGMP guidelines while maintaining inventory accuracy by performing daily cycle counts. Produces new sequentially numbered tray tags for the Production Departments. Creates and maintains an inventory of tags for the various Production Departments. This includes but is not limited to the Segregation tags, Sampling tags, Filter tags, etc. Participates and completes all company training requirements by use of the company’s computer-based training program (LIFT) within prescribed time frames as well as complying with all Standard Operating Procedures, cGMP, and Company policies. Performs other tasks and shares in the overtime responsibilities as needed. Coordinates using the Packaging Schedule. Lifts cases of labels, inserts etc. up to 35 pounds each and the operation of assorted manual conveyance equipment, including but not limited to dollies, hand trucks, flatbed carts and pallet jacks, and ladders Prepares, assembles, and verifies all labeling components that are required for Packaging Department in a timely and accurate manner.
