About The Position

This role is responsible for managing label inventory and distribution within the facility. The attendant will ensure accurate tracking of labels, provide them to production as needed, and maintain an organized work area. Compliance with relevant regulations and proper use of equipment are key aspects of this position.

Requirements

• Must be able to understand, speak, read and write in English in order to perform the essential functions of the job as they relate to comprehension of laws, regulations, standards, documents and other internal and external communications.
• Must have working knowledge of computers.
• Must have detail and organizational skills.
• Must have problem solving skills.
• Must be able to communicate well, both written and oral, with others within the organization.
• Must have ability to do simple mathematic equations. Needs to be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure and understand relations between units of measure.
• Ability to understand all plants operations and where they fit into department operations.
• Must be able to move 50 lbs. from floor to 48 inches height.

Responsibilities

• Check incoming label quantities and print out receiving paperwork.
• Provide production with labels as needed.
• Update all work order paperwork with label quantities given to and from production.
• Keep label control area in an organized and clean manner.
• Keep track of label inventory by doing periodic cycle counts.
• Accurate and timely recording of materials received, product produced, scrap, and excess.
• Proper use and care of equipment and materials issued to work area.
• Understand and comply with DSHEA act.
