About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Reference Test Clerk to join our team in Dublin, OH. This role involves preparing laboratory specimens for various analyses and testing, researching and resolving customer and specimen issues, sending test requests to the proper location, and releasing test results. The clerk will also assist clients with specimen-related inquiries, process specimens for external facilities, and provide general support to laboratory operations. Key tasks include sample sorting, racking, retrieving, and maintaining accurate record logs in a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Comfortability with handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• High level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask
• Ability to work in a fast paced production environment and meet established turn-around times
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Nice To Haves

• 3 months or more of specimen processing experience
• 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience
• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs

Responsibilities
