About The Position

Responsible for performing the various quality control tests required for manufactured batches. This individual will also be required to analyze customers' in use samples on a regular basis as well as assist with technical service projects and troubleshooting. Work closely with the production team as well as the technical services team. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.

Requirements

Proven experience with common chemical terminology.
Experience in a laboratory setting.
Strong organizational skills.
Able to work independently with limited supervision and in a team setting.
Ability to read and follow written procedures with little to no supervision.
Able to adapt to sudden changes of a plan.
Desire to learn and acquire new skills to assist other functions with the laboratory setting.

Nice To Haves

Chemistry preferred but not required. A combination of work experience and education will be considered in lieu of an associate or bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

Analyze for viscosity, density, various titrations, pH, FTIR, X-Ray, and other routine measurements.
Ensure calibrations and verifications are current.
Record results accurately in electronic database.
Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
Ensure timely and accurate analysis.
Prepare standards and reagents as dictated by procedures as needed.
Help plan and allocate resources for incoming customer samples.
Ensure timely and accurate analysis.
Assist in generating reports from data obtained as required.
Mix small scale (≤ 1 gallon) batches and working solutions as needed.
Assist with projects.
Help gather and package materials for off-site trials and testing as needed.
