About The Position

Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Lab Technician for a contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to apply your skills in support of meaningful work for one of our client partners. Our healthcare client is seeking a Lab Technician and Analyst to support data center and lab operations on a consulting basis through the end of the year, with a strong potential for extension. This role works closely with technical teams to maintain server environments, deploy new hardware, and ensure smooth lab operations.

Requirements

• Onsite Availability: Work on‑site Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a lab technician and global development teams to support data center and lab operations.
• Install and configure new HPC hardware in alignment with engineering guidelines.
• Install SLES operating systems using both manual and automated methods.
• Maintain and repair approximately 100 servers across both new and legacy systems.
• Reconfigure systems as needed to support development requirements.
• Resolve hardware, networking, and software issues.
• Track and manage parts and supplies needed for lab operations.
• Maintain detailed trackers documenting the status and connections of machines.
• Maintain lab areas in alignment with EHS guidelines for safety and housekeeping.
