About The Position

The Lab Technician position performs all tasks involved in the testing and sampling of the company’s raw materials and products resulting in copper, silver and gold production. The position follows standard work methods and practices and safe work habits to ensure testing and sampling is as efficient and safe as possible.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Thoroughness

• Ability to talk or hear
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel
• Ability to reach with hands and arms
• Ability to stand
• Ability to walk
• Ability to periodically lift 10 pounds or more

• Previous production or lab experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain an efficient and effective testing and sampling station
• Listen, understand and provide feedback to lab manager
• Run heavy equipment as required (forklift)
• Perform assay testing and sampling
• Recommend efficiencies in lab operations
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Practice good housekeeping
