About The Position

This role involves conducting routine and non-routine testing of Shelf Stable Products and ingredients to ensure compliance with specifications. The technician will perform various audits, manage broken jar pallets, review and sign lab procedures annually, and communicate out-of-specification products to the operations supervisor. Accurate recording of test results, cleanup of the work area, and other assigned tasks are also part of the responsibilities. This position offers a shift differential for night shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED Certificate
• No experience required.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and non-routine testing of shelf stable Acidified, High Acid, and Retorted product for compliance to specifications according to current procedure.
• Conduct finished product audits in accordance to current procedure.
• Insuring Broken Jar pallets are fixed in a timely manner.
• Reading and signing lab procedures on Annual Basis.
• Conduct line audit for GMP compliance.
• Communication of out-of-specification products to operations supervisor on duty.
• Recording accurate results for tests completed on correct forms.
• Cleanup and organization of work area.
• Other tasks as assigned.
