About The Position

The Lab Technician tests materials before, during, and after production to measure material characteristics and verify that they meet product specifications. The role also involves inspecting and testing products for quality and accuracy.

The position requires working in a non-controlled environment and performing physical activities that include frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 75 pounds; standing, walking, using stairs or ladders, driving an automatic forklift, climbing, squatting, stooping, twisting, bending, grabbing, and grasping.

Requirements

• High attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Basic mathematics and unit-conversion skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Written and verbal communication skills in English.
• High school diploma or GED required.

• At least one year of quality testing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine, measure, and test product quality safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Use a database to record measurements.
• Label and package archived product or marketing samples.
• Notify a supervisor or manager promptly when product deficiencies are found.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Company as needed.
