About The Position
This is a learning position to develop professional skills and gain experience in a clinical andrology/endocrine laboratory with the goal of achieving proficiency in the performance of andrology/endocrine laboratory services in accordance with Illume Fertility’s Protocol Manuals. This position also includes laboratory administrative responsibilities.
Requirements
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or Medical Technology.
- Adequate computer skills.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge in ARTworks, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, outlook and PowerPoint is necessary.
- Staff member must meet immunizations requirements as stated in the Illume Fertility immunization policy.

Responsibilities
- Participate in laboratory operations and laboratory services as directed by supervisor to develop proficiency in all required areas.
- Perform semen analysis to include sperm count, sperm motility, sperm morphology, viability, and anti-sperm antibody testing.
- Perform routine sperm preps for inseminations and cryopreservation.
- Assist the physician in exam rooms with inseminations.
- Maintain accurate, current cryopreservation records.
- Other duties as needed.
