About The Position

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking a Lab Technician for the Advanced Technology Team. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and inventory of multiple laboratories, performing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on various lab equipment, and managing laboratory and office supplies. The technician will also be responsible for organizing, cataloging, shipping, and maintaining a library of product and fragrance oil standards, while adhering to General Laboratory Safety practices outlined by ELC SOP’s/Guidelines. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

0-2 years’ hands-on laboratory experience.
Minimum Associate’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
Strong organizational skills.
Highly organized and independent thinker.
Performs function with high attention to detail and excellence in execution.

Nice To Haves

Experience within the cosmetic and/or fragrance and flavor industry a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensuring the cleanliness of the multiple laboratories within the Advanced Technology Team.
Create and maintain inventory lists to be compliant with ELC standards.
Daily, Weekly, and Monthly lab maintenance of equipment (processing equipment, analytical equipment, measurement equipment).
Maintain laboratory and office inventory of supplies, including generating of purchase orders for the team.
Following General Laboratory Safety practices outlined by ELC SOP’s/Guidelines.
Organize, catalog, ship, maintain library of product and fragrance oil standards.
Other duties as assigned.
