About The Position

Our new Randolph, MN location is set to open its doors in early May 2026, and we are beginning the hiring process now. We will be reviewing applications and interviewing on a rolling basis, allowing us to adjust start dates to fit your schedule and business needs. To get you started on the right foot, this position may include in-person training period at our Le Sueur, MN facility. We are excited to offer a $1,000 sign-on bonus for this position, distributed based on your continued success with the team. This position is responsible for performing laboratory tests and analyses on raw materials, and intermediate products to ensure quality control and process optimization within the raw material quartz processing facility. This role involves collecting samples, preparing specimens, conducting tests, and documenting results accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Collect samples of raw materials, and intermediate products according to established sampling procedures.
  • Communicate test results and ensure non-conforming material is processed appropriately
  • Conduct laboratory tests and analyses, including but not limited to: Particle size analysis (e.g., sieve analysis, laser diffraction) Color analysis
  • Set up and maintain laboratory test equipment
  • Input the status of raw materials into the Oracle computer system
  • Operate, clean, and maintain all equipment in the lab
  • Complete all paperwork in a timely manner and communicate any issues at the shift transition
  • Keep work area clean and orderly
  • Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Quality Control Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
