We are looking for you! In this role, your primary responsibility will be to safely fill cylinders with mixed gasses in accordance with regulatory requirements. You'll also assist with pure gas filling and the preparation of Device and Spec Gas mixes. Additionally, you may handle liquid gas tanks, always ensuring alignment with OSHA, FDA, DOT, ISO, and Airgas regulations and policies. Safety will be a top priority, as you'll follow Airgas SOPs during the loading and unloading of cylinder gasses. Your attention to detail and commitment to compliance will contribute to nurturing a safe and effective lab environment.

Requirements

  • Previous Cylinder Gas Lab Technician experience preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive and collaborative approach to daily tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to advance team goals.
  • Capability to manage tasks with autonomy and navigate priorities effectively.
  • Interpersonal skills to foster understanding with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Proficiency in reading and comprehending safety data sheets.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

  • Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in industrial operations is a plus.
  • Previous experience in plant operations, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities
