About The Position
Big River United Energy has an opening for a Lab Technician at our Dyersville location. Big River United Energy is located in Dyersville, IA, and specializes in the processing of corn into fuel grade ethanol, dried distillers grains and corn oil. This position will be challenging and gratifying, while working alongside an excellent team. Drive into the future with Big River United Energy creating a cleaner burning fuel!
Requirements
- Two or four year science degree or equivalent work and/or lab experience
- Basic computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Good time management skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with HPLCs, moisture meters, NIR, GCs, pH probes
Responsibilities
- Obtaining and running various process samples
- Tracking fermentation progress
- Checking water treatment and final product samples for quality
