About The Position

Join Pace® as a Lab Technician in the sample preparation department of our environmental testing laboratory. You will receive all the training needed to succeed in your new role and grow an exciting laboratory sciences career. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves — all provided by Pace®)

Nice To Haves

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in a STEM with chemistry credit hours preferred
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Support our Scientists by preparing water and soil samples prior to analysis
• Follow a variety of established sample preparation procedures
• Work with various solvents and chemicals for the preparation of samples
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases
