About The Position
Pace® is seeking a Lab Technician to work in the sample preparation department of an environmental testing laboratory. The role supports scientists by preparing water and soil samples before analysis, following established procedures, working with solvents and chemicals, and maintaining documentation and databases. Training is provided, with opportunities to develop laboratory science skills and build a career in environmental science. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and pays $13.00 per hour. Compensation may vary based on geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, market conditions, budget, and organizational guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a laboratory or office setting.
- Ability to remain standing for long periods while conducting tests.
- Ability to work around strong smells.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment while handling samples, including a lab coat, safety glasses, and gloves.

- Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting; preferred but not required.
