The role involves supporting scientists by preparing water and soil samples prior to analysis, following established procedures, working with various solvents and chemicals, and maintaining documentation. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods while conducting tests.
• Ability to work around strong smells.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves) while handling samples.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support scientists by preparing water and soil samples prior to analysis.
• Follow a variety of established sample preparation procedures.
• Work with various solvents and chemicals for the preparation of samples.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
