Requirements

  • Technical School diploma required
  • Ability to read and understand lab procedures
  • Capable of reading technical manuals and equipment documentation
  • Basic understanding of geometry and algebra
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with control programs and databases
  • Ability to recognize irregularities and escalate appropriately
  • Good understanding of mechanical systems
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to write procedures, technical reports, and project documentation

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science degree preferred
  • Battery testing or production experience
  • Quality control experience in a manufacturing or lab environment

Responsibilities

  • Tests individual components of batteries.
  • Performs weekly quality control tests and documents results.
  • Evaluates battery failures and performs basic repairs.
  • Constructs test samples and executes specialized battery tests including: Life cycle tests, Explosion tests, Short circuit tests, Float tests, Capacity tests
  • Inscribes, approves, and maintains documentation within the quality management system.
  • Maintains proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices.
  • Ensures consistent production of high-quality products.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Available to work mandatory overtime as required.
