About The Position

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is seeking a self-motivated, full-time Lab Tech to join its team in Hastings, Nebraska. The role performs accurate laboratory analyses on production and final product samples, records test results in a database, and reports results to others promptly. The Lab Tech also provides scale coverage as needed to support grain receiving, shipping, and daily operations, and performs other duties as assigned. The scheduled shift is 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with every third weekend as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be a team player and take initiative.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work a scheduled shift of 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and every third weekend as assigned.
• Must be willing and able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform accurate laboratory analyses on production and final product samples.
• Record test results in the database.
• Report results to others in a timely manner.
• Provide scale coverage as needed to support grain receiving, shipping, and daily operational activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
