About The Position

SAIC has an opportunity for a Lab Systems Engineer to join an elite Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) team in Chantilly, VA. We need a proactive, detail-oriented systems engineer with polished communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate contributes to the success of the government and the SAIC team by providing technical and programmatic support to the government for all lab activities, providing subject matter expertise to customer leadership on emerging technologies and initiatives related to space systems capabilities, advising customer and enterprise leadership on efficacy of planned lab initiatives (cost, schedule, performance, and risk), advising customer leadership on operational efficiencies, including systematic and innovative allocation of limited resources (e.g. personnel, power, space, and cooling), and representing customer in evaluating impacts to site architecture driven by capability changes; assesses innovative concepts and emerging lab capabilities for potential transition onto operational baselines.
