About The Position

This role involves performing necessary functions, including testing and analysis of results at various stages to ensure and maintain high quality and sterility of materials and products. The specialist will operate and maintain gas chromatograph equipment and accessories, perform specific analysis test procedures, maintain stock of chemicals/reagents, assist with Biological Indicator Sterility testing, update and maintain required records and files, and perform calibration and routine maintenance of lab equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from four-year College or university with one to two years experience operating a Gas Chromatograph; or an Associates degree in Chemistry with two to four years experience operating a Gas Chromatograph.

Responsibilities

• Perform necessary functions, including testing and analysis of results at various stages to ensure and maintain high quality and sterility of materials and products.
• Operate and maintain gas chromatograph equipment and accessories.
• Perform Glycol Analysis test procedure.
• Perform Ethylene Oxide/Ethylene Chlorohydrin Residual Analysis test procedures.
• Maintain adequate stock of chemicals/reagents used in Chemistry laboratory test processes.
• Assist with Biological Indicator Sterility testing.
• Update and maintain required records and files in a timely manner.
• Perform calibration and routine maintenance of lab equipment.
