About The Position

Performs a variety of routine and advanced laboratory tests and procedures for use in diagnosis. Serves as a clinical resource for trainees, MLTs, and postgraduate physicians.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program.
• MLT (ASCP) certification or equivalent (AMT) must be completed within six months of employment date.
• Proficiency in all areas of the laboratory.
• No previous experience required.
• Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field.
• MT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) certification or equivalent (AMT) must be completed within six months of employment date.
