About The Position

This role supports the Principal Investigator in coordinating people, processes, equipment, and information systems to keep a biomedical engineering laboratory running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining instruments, managing inventory, enforcing lab protocols, the lab manual, and lab policies, and ensuring compliance with institutional and Environmental Health and Safety requirements. This role manages and supports the principal investigator in purchasing, vendor relationships, operational budgeting, and contributes to grant‑related financial tracking and allowable‑expense oversight. It also resolves day‑to‑day issues across wet‑lab, dry‑lab, and animal‑protocol activities. In addition, this role conducts independent bench research involving experimental design, execution, and data analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required.
3+ years of relevant experience required.
