About The Position
JOB SUMMARY Work Shift: 7 days on, 7 days off Wednesday - Tuesday 2:00 pm - midnight. This position may be eligible for a sign on bonus plus shift differentials! The Lab Processor Senior enters requests and verifies receipt of lab samples for Marshfield Labs. The individual will check samples for proper identification requirements and suitability for testing based on specified requirements and defined rejection criteria. The Lab Processor Senior processes acceptable specimens so they are available for testing or proper storage within the technical areas. The Lab Processor Senior independently completes lab processing duties, including troubleshooting, determining and communicating resolutions to clients and/or management, and completes training functions to cross train and mentor incoming staff on laboratory functions. JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION Education qualifications must be from a school whose accreditation is recognized by Marshfield Clinic Health System.
Requirements
- Six months experience with laboratory processing and successful completion of advanced skill procedures related to the department.
- Employee may not at any time have been or be excluded from participation in any federally funded program, including Medicare and Medicaid. This is a condition of employment. Employee must immediately notify his/her manager or the Health System’s Compliance Officer if he/she is threatened with exclusion or becomes excluded from any federally funded program
