This hybrid role requires 3 days onsite in Chicago, IL, with a shift from Tuesday to Saturday, 12pm-8:30pm CST. The company is dedicated to decoding and processing genetic makeup, leveraging vast amounts of genomic and molecular data to provide physicians with real-time, actionable insights for personalized cancer treatment. The laboratory operations team is crucial in developing state-of-the-art techniques for processing, creating, and interpreting this data.

Requirements

4 year college degree in Biological Sciences or similar is preferred.
Exceptional customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Highly organized and systematic, superb attention to detail and ability to complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
Show initiative and ability to work as part of a high-level team while working independently.
Proven ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt to new processes smoothly.

Responsibilities

Managing samples in the laboratory information management system (LIMS) and ensuring quick and efficient specimen processing.
Developing a firm understanding of internal lab processes and databases with respect to pharmaceutical and partner ops projects.
Communicating directly with various members of pharma/partner ops departments to provide clarity on specimen status, delays, and expected completion dates.
Responding to inquiries by email, slack and in person quickly and professionally.
Tracking and managing progress on pharma/partner ops laboratory projects.
Participating in monitoring audits of sample status and prevention of delays.
Monitoring high priority orders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
