About The Position

Review specific cadaveric anatomy with incoming Physical Therapy (PT) and Occupational Therapy (OT) Qualifying Year and International students during a two x half-day anatomy workshop. Lab Helpers B will cover two stations (one on each workshop day) and coordinate the Lab Helpers anatomy workshop team.

Requirements

  • Student in the BSc in Rehabilitation Science (PT or OT) with excellent knowledge of anatomy
  • Previous experience as a UCA for ANAT 315/316 or Anatomy Tutor
  • Previous work as a prosector in the anatomy lab or anatomy tutor
  • High School Diploma
  • 1 Year Related Experience
  • Authorized to work in Canada
  • Willing to work in the province of Quebec

  • Previous anatomy lab or workshop lead an asset
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Anatomy workshop Lab Helpers Team Lead
  • Communicate with and coordinate the Anatomy workshop Team
  • Communicate with the Anatomy workshop Faculty Leads
  • Review the Anatomy Workshop structure list consisting of all required structures to be covered during the two x half-day workshop
  • Coordinate the pre-workshop content preparations
  • Coordinate quiz questions for each station and develop quiz questions for own stations
  • Coordinate clinical case study questions for each station and develop clinical case study questions for own stations (related to the clinical relevance of the anatomical structures)
  • Demonstrate the assigned anatomical structures stations (x2) to students with the use of prosections
  • Differentiate identified structures from adjacent structures
  • Answer questions related to the clinical relevance of the anatomical structures for either PT or OT, with reference to the material taught at the School and, if applicable, to clinical experience from prior clinical placements
  • Provide clinical insight on predetermined anatomical structures and discuss potential implications of injury/ degeneration of these structures for specific populations
