About The Position

To provide courier service for transporting laboratory specimens between FirstHealth entities and clinics. This is a casual part-time weekend position only, less than 20 hours a week.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid NC or SC drivers license with a good driving history.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of laboratory safety, specimen handling and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs lab specimen pick-ups and deliveries in a timely manner following designated routes.
• Effectively communicates problems or delays in expected arrival times.
• Manages and maintains specimen integrity throughout the transport process.
