About The Position
Responsible for transporting biological specimens and supplies between SIH entities and contracted clients.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current Illinois Drivers License
- Intermittent hand manipulation required
- Intermittent lifting and carrying of 20 pounds

Responsibilities
- Picks-up specimens from SIH entities and transport to appropriate facility.
- Ensures specimens are handled appropriately, and are not compromised in shipping.
- Handles all infectious materials according to safe handling guidelines (OSHA, IATA and CDC).
- Distributes supplies to clients.
- Monitors the quality of specimens.
- Maintains tracking system for transported specimens.
- Maintains the company vehicle to ensure that vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Attends departmental and other meetings as necessary.
