About The Position
Saint Luke's is looking for a Lab Courier who serves as a primary daily liaison with clients and transports specimens, supplies and reports throughout the hospital campus as requested. No weekends, no holidays. Schedule varies, 8-1630, or 0900-1730.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
Responsibilities
- Gathers laboratory specimens from client offices, per a defined daily schedule, as well as on a stat basis.
- Confirms completeness of specimen and requisition labeling as well as appropriateness of specimen type for testing requested.
- Transports specimens to Laboratory for testing.
- Coordinates ordering and stocking of supplies to be distributed to clients.
- Receives and packs client orders for scheduled delivery to client offices.
