The Lab Co-ordinator is responsible for co-ordinating lab-based instruction in the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, Psychology Program in the area of research design and statistics at the Brantford Campus. In consultation with course instructors, the incumbent develops and refines laboratory content, leads some labs, trains and supervises graduate student Teaching Assistants (TAs) (if applicable) who provide lab demonstration and instruction, is responsible for the smooth and efficient functioning of these labs , and ensures that the labs contribute to the educational goals of the courses involved. The Lab Co-ordinator also conducts and supervises grading of regular written and web-based assignments. They consult with students during regularly scheduled office hours. The Lab Co-ordinator regularly revises and enhances the structure and content of labs and assignments. They assess the potential for more or new technology-based course enhancements, and makes recommendations to the faculty or the Program Coordinator concerning these enhancements.
