About The Position

This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and sterility of laboratory equipment and workspaces. Responsibilities include washing, sterilizing, and maintaining laboratory glassware, instruments, and equipment. The position also requires cleaning and disinfecting workstations, sinks, tables, and floors according to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) standards. Additionally, the role involves safely handling, labeling, and disposing of chemical, biological, and hazardous waste in compliance with environmental regulations. Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels for washroom supplies, cleaning agents, and lab materials, as well as accurately documenting sanitation activities, equipment logs, and inventory status are also key aspects of this position. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, dry and sterilize laboratory glassware, metal instruments, and specialized equipment.
• Clean and disinfected workstations, sinks, tables, and floors according to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) standards.
• Safety handle, label, and dispose of chemical, biological and hazardous waste in compliance with environmental regulations.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels for washroom supplies, cleaning agents, and lab materials.
• Document sanitation activities, equipment logs, and inventory status accurately.
• Other duties as assigned.
