About The Position

LyondellBasell’s Cincinnati Technology Center is seeking a laboratory associate for the polymer physical testing laboratory. This position will perform physical testing, interpret data, and document results. The Lab Associate will participate in teams to achieve department goals.

Requirements

associate degree in applied science, chemistry, or a related technical field.
Experience with lab techniques and/ or polymer physical testing, R&D experience is desirable.
High initiative individual, focused on providing high quality laboratory data in an efficient manner, while exhibiting excellent workplace skills.
Solid background in Microsoft Office and computer-based instrument control systems for lab equipment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Critical thinking skills and the ability to make competent, independent, decisions in a timely manner to ensure excellent progress on assigned tasks.
Ability to effectively manage multiple and or changing priorities with minimal supervision.
Must possess the ability to interact effectively and professionally with internal customers, external customers, and vendors.

R&D experience is desirable.
