Lab Associate, Surface Department
About The Position

Three Rivers Optical produces lenses for the top manufacturers, as well as its own private label, in a full-service laboratory. Requirements
- Experience as an optician, or experience in an optometry practice or lab setting.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, typically 8am – 5pm.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and bend, twist and crouch as needed.
- Committed to collaboration and teamwork.
- Interest in cross training in other departments and advancing career.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in optometry or manufacturing ideal but not required.
Responsibilities
- Washing and drying manufactured lenses followed by a brief cosmetic inspection of the lenses.
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure each order is correct.
- Examine finished lenses for defects, ensuring they meet the required prescription and quality standards.
- Perform other tasks at several different production stations as needed in order to maintain acceptable job flow.
