The Lab Assistant will be responsible for drawing blood, collecting specimens, and running EKGs on patients. They will also process specimens, including accessioning in the LIS, organize and deliver laboratory reports, file reports and requisitions, restock and clean laboratory areas, answer the phone and assist at the front window, and perform other duties as needed. This role helps maintain a smooth workflow for laboratory technologists and requires compliance with Nevada Administrative Code Section 652.450. The employee must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Laboratory Assistant in the State of Nevada.
