About The Position

ImpactLife is hiring a Lab Assistant for its Processing Laboratory. Lab Assistants prepare blood donor samples for testing, perform quality control testing, and support Bench Techs to help ensure the right product gets to the right patient. They also prepare components, release and label products, and prepare products for shipping. This is a 30+ position on 3rd shift, with varied hours that may include days, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Great communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work varied hours, including days, evenings, and weekends.
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

Previous work in the medical field.
Associate’s degree or Medical Assistant degree.
