About The Position
The Lab Assistant/Processor Specialist is responsible for processing clinical specimens received in the laboratory. Under limited supervision and according to approved procedures, performs a variety of laboratory support procedures including specimen collection, order entry, processing, all while maintaining patient confidentiality. The Lab Assistant/Processor accepts assignments to various work locations within the Kelsey-Seybold Clinic geographic locations and schedules as required. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service
- Demonstrated excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Demonstrate a teamwork mindset, initiative and open to new learning experiences
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
- Lab Data Entry experience
