About The Position

Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA, other applicable regulations, and established standards. Performs venipunctures at applicable entities and obtains and prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures. Assists technical staff with non-clinical tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No work experience required.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience as a phlebotomist.
• Experience performing EKGs.
• Experience working in a healthcare or clinical laboratory setting.
• Phlebotomy technician certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA, or an equivalent agency.
