About The Position
This is a part-time Lab Assistant, Esthetics position located at the Henry County Center of Southern Crescent Technical College. The role supports student success in an educational program preparing students for careers in Esthetics by fulfilling non-teaching activities under the direct supervision of faculty members.
Requirements
- Successful completion of the course(s) which are appropriate to the assignment as an assistant.
Nice To Haves
- Esthetician’s license
- Diploma in Esthetics from an accredited college or university
- Georgia Master Cosmetologist License
- Minimum of three (3) years of in-field work experience within the past seven (7) years
Responsibilities
- Perform routine standardized laboratory work requiring close attention to detailed procedures in the preparation and basic maintenance and operation of laboratory equipment, inventory and requisition of supplies.
- Assisting faculty in supervision of students assigned to laboratories.
- Administrative responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
