About The Position

The Lab Analyst performs testing on routine and non-routine samples using chemical analysis techniques. The role is conducted in an environment regulated by ISO and cGMP standards, and analysts work under the direction of a Team Manager. Analysts also monitor the quality of test results using statistical process control techniques and investigate failing results.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong time management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate of Science degree in chemistry or Bachelor's degree in physical science; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on routine and non-routine samples using gas chromatography.
• Perform titrations and other wet chemical analyses.
• Conduct ultraviolet and infrared spectroscopy.
• Perform viscosity measurements, softening point testing, and other polymer analyses.
• Conduct total halogen, sulfur, and nitrogen testing.
• Perform flashpoint testing.
• Monitor the quality of test results using statistical process control techniques.
• Investigate failing results.
