As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care that supports patients’ well-being and recovery. You will provide individualized, comprehensive care by assessing patients, performing skilled procedures, and implementing patient care plans. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes. The role calls for strong assessment and critical-thinking skills, a patient-first mindset, urgency, and dedication to excellence in a fast-paced setting. You will conduct admission and ongoing assessments; provide nursing care for patients’ physical, psychological, and spiritual needs; and notify physicians of assessment changes requiring attention. You will design, direct, evaluate, and document plans of care, patient and family teaching, and safe transitions and discharges. You will work with other clinical disciplines to address specialized care and discharge needs, while tailoring care plans and daily goals to each patient. You will prepare patients for treatments, surgeries, and diagnostic studies; monitor their conditions and report significant changes; and implement patient safety initiatives, protocols, medication safety practices, physician orders, and consult notifications. You will reassess patients after interventions, notify physicians when needed, and adjust care to meet changing needs. You will give and receive bedside shift reports, support continuity of care, delegate tasks according to coworkers’ experience and abilities and patient acuity, maintain a safe patient and work environment, and promptly report safety and hazard concerns.
