About The Position
Kennebec Valley Community College is seeking a KVCC Electrical Lineworker Lab Assistant for a contracted position. This role involves instructing students on proper climbing techniques, ensuring safety and proper PPE usage, providing guidance during field linework, and offering input on student progress. The position is scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8 AM to 4 PM.
Requirements
- Journeyman Lineman or 1st Class Lineman currently or retired with safe working history.
Responsibilities
- Instruct students on proper climbing techniques.
- Help ensure students are working safely and wearing all their PPE.
- Give guidance while students are performing linework in the field.
- Give input on student progress in the field.
